We operate a long and short distance, two-way contact, amateur (Ham) radio station, based in Scotland. You can find out more about the station by following the links over on the right of this page. Amateur Radio is a popular hobby practised by millions of enthusiasts in every country around the world. From Farmers to Kings, you can talk to them all. On amateur radio everyone is equal! Amongst the more famous 'Hams' are Marlin Brando and King Hussein of Jordan.Many of the worlds Astronauts are also radio hams. Many of the familiar communication systems or methods, developed discovered or invented over the past century or more, have had radio amateurs involved at some stage. Radio itself, Mobile Phones, TV and Satellite TV and computers are amongst these major developments. Radio Hams can be found in the sapce industry, space, astronomy, government, emergency services and all walks of industry.
