The Eddystone 730/4 B style receiver. This was one of Eddystones most successful general coverage radios. These were made through the 50's into the early 60's. I use this for general shack background noise.. short wave broadcasting isn't what it used to be. Many of the interesting AM and Untility stations have long gone! :-(

The XYL's "Baby Eddy" (8" Tall 10" Wide) an Eddystone 870A ships receiver from the 1960's. Being around the house all day she monitors the world wide SW broadcast bands. This little beauty is connected to a wire loop antenna (6" x 12") and loves every moment of it! (The receiver that is).
