The KWM-2 Collins rig. They don't
make em like this any longer.. this rig is so user friendly. Everything
is numbered and everything is removable and easily replaced. Real
radio from the late 50's and 1960's.
Collins type 516F-2 power supply
used with KWM-2 and S-line gear. The red blur of type states an
800V warning! The valves for this are 5u4gb and 5r4gya (the ones
shown are replacements). The transformer was re-wound by a W4CLJ
in 1979 (* This callsign re issued later to another).
My 2005-06 QSL card and behind... the trusty Collins
... sadly sold in 2004 weep weep!
