Amble Holiday 2004
Burning the midnite oil till dawn. This was the summer
QTH of 2004. "Sea Salt Cottage"Amble Port, Northumberland,
England. The 35 foot vertical pole supports an inverted V military
"Manpack" dipole set for 80m. The antenna is placed
on the sea wall (North Sea) 40 feet over the water giving a total
height of 75 feet.

International Lighthouse Weekend 1993. St
Abbs Lighthouse Berwickshire. Derrick Dance GM4CX/P on my trusty
old TS430S. Derrick was so impressed he bought one !
We were unable to operate inside
the building so we just threw out a wire across a gully plonked
our butts down on the ground and roughed it. There was also an
official club station on the air from the same location.
